Privacy Policy

How Dijest Designs collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our website, buy our templates and digital products, or work with us.

Effective date: 26 October 2026

1.Who we are

Dijest Designs (Pty) Ltd ("Dijest Designs", "we", "us", "our") is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

  • Registration number: 2018/012241/07
  • Location: Sunningdale, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
  • Information Officer: Diana Olver
  • Privacy contact: info@dijestdesigns.com

2.What this policy covers

This policy applies when you visit dijestdesigns.com, contact us, sign up for our emails, buy a Kajabi template, GoHighLevel template or other digital product from us, or use our support services. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

When we build or set up systems for our clients, the client decides how their customers' personal information is used. In that case we act as the client's operator and follow their instructions and our agreement with them.

3.Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and business name.
  • Order details: what you bought, when, the price paid, your billing name, country and address where needed.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, contact form or support request, including screenshots or files you share.
  • Project details: information about your business and website that you share so we can help you, such as your platform account details.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, collected through our website, hosting and security tools.
  • Email activity: whether our emails were delivered and opened and which links were clicked, if you receive emails from us.

Information from others

  • Payment providers confirm whether your payment went through and send us basic transaction details. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Platforms such as GoHighLevel or Kajabi may tell us that a snapshot or template was shared or installed.

We do not intentionally collect special personal information (such as health, religious or biometric information). Please do not send us this kind of information.

4.How we use your information

We only use your personal information for clear, lawful purposes:

  • To process and deliver your order: taking payment, sending download or access links, and providing your licence. This is needed to perform our contract with you.
  • To support you: answering questions, handling refunds and cancellations, and carrying out support services you book.
  • To run our business: keeping accounting and tax records, preventing fraud, and protecting our website and products. This is required by law or in our legitimate interest.
  • To improve what we offer: understanding which products and pages are useful, in our legitimate interest.
  • To send you marketing emails, but only with your consent or where the law otherwise allows it (see the next section).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

5.Marketing emails

We send marketing emails, such as new templates, offers and tips, only if you have opted in, or if you are an existing customer and the emails are about similar products and services to ones you bought from us.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@dijestdesigns.com and we will remove you. Unsubscribing does not stop emails about orders you have placed, such as receipts and delivery links.

6.Who we share it with

We share your personal information only when we need to, and only with:

  • Payment providers such as PayFast, TradeSafe and the provider shown at checkout, to process your payment.
  • Our sales, email and website platforms, including GoHighLevel and our website hosting provider, which store order and contact details and send our emails.
  • Platforms our templates run on, such as Kajabi and GoHighLevel, when we deliver a template or carry out support work in your account.
  • Everyday business tools, such as our email, file storage and communication tools.
  • Professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer, where needed.
  • Authorities, where we are required to by law or to protect our rights.

Our service providers may only use your information to provide their services to us and must keep it secure and confidential.

7.Transfers outside South Africa

Some of our service providers, including GoHighLevel, Kajabi and our email and storage tools, store information on servers outside South Africa, for example in the United States. We only use providers that are subject to laws, binding rules or agreements that give your information a level of protection similar to POPIA, as required by section 72 of POPIA. By buying from us or contacting us, you understand that your information may be processed in these countries.

8.Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work and stay secure, and checkout pages may use cookies set by our sales platform and payment providers to complete your purchase.

Where we use analytics or advertising cookies, we will tell you and, where required, ask for your consent first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the website or checkout may then not work properly.

9.How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: 5 years after the end of the tax year of the purchase, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Customer and support records: for as long as you have a licence or account with us, so we can resend files and help you, and for up to 3 years after our last contact.
  • Marketing list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address on a suppression list so we do not email you again.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase: up to 2 years.
  • Login details or access you give us for support work: deleted or revoked as soon as the work is finished.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10.How we protect it

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include secure (HTTPS) connections, a password manager, two step login on our business accounts, limiting access to the people who need it, and using reputable providers.

No system is completely secure. If a security breach affects your personal information and is likely to harm you, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

11.Access to your platform accounts

For some support work we may need access to your Kajabi, GoHighLevel or other accounts. Please give us a collaborator or user login with only the permissions we need, rather than your own password, wherever the platform allows it. We only use this access for the agreed work, we do not copy your customers' data, and we ask you to remove our access when the work is done.

12.Your rights

Under POPIA, and similar laws in other countries where they apply to you, you have the right to:

  • Ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer have a valid reason to keep.
  • Object to us using your information, including for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

To use any of these rights, email info@dijestdesigns.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We respond within a reasonable time, and within 30 days in most cases. Requests are free, except where the law allows a fee for copies of records, in which case we will tell you upfront. Further details about access requests are set out in our PAIA manual, available on request.

13.Children

Our products and services are intended for adults running a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we start using a new service provider. The current version, with its effective date, will always be on this page. If we make a significant change, we will tell customers by email.

15.Contact and complaints

If you have a question or concern about your personal information, please contact our Information Officer first. We will do our best to put it right.

  • Information Officer: Diana Olver
  • Email: info@dijestdesigns.com
  • Dijest Designs (Pty) Ltd, Sunningdale, Cape Town, South Africa

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) through its website, inforegulator.org.za.
